Upside Down Yogis Week

Elevate Your Practice at Upside Down Yogis Summer Camp Week!

 

Monday: Rooted in Joy

  • Laughter Yoga and Acro Yoga to kick off the week with connection and playfulness.
  • Reflect on self-identity through our Seven Dwarves Discovery Activity, using mirrors to explore personal strengths and affirmations.
  • Create a Grounding Stone Jar to symbolize the people, places, and things that keep us rooted.
  • Outdoor Earthing Experience to connect with nature and the calming energy of the earth.

Tuesday: Flexibility in Mind and Body

  • Practice deep stretching and focus on balance in both body and mind.
  • Craft Balance Bracelets representing rest, play, movement, and stillness.
  • Explore mindful eating with sensory activities and make calming tea blends using herbs.
  • Begin creating DIY Shavasana Eye Pillows with calming herbs and essential oils for relaxation.

Wednesday: Trust Your Center

  • Focus on arm balances like crow, side crow, and eight-angle, building strength and confidence.
  • Enjoy a silent meditation walk by the lake to cultivate intuition and calm.
  • Create a beautiful Personal Power Bowl, decorating it with affirmations and symbols of inner strength.
  • Experience the soothing tones of a singing bowl session to deepen relaxation.

Thursday: Take Flight

  • Field trip to Sky Gym (or another exciting venue) to safely challenge balance, strength, and courage.
  • Get creative with Nature Crowns, using leaves and flowers to craft a symbol of transformation and growth.
  • Finish up your Shavasana Eye Pillow or Balance Bracelet for a personal touch to your week.

Friday: Celebrate the Journey

  • Close out the week with a Water Yoga & Tumbling session, blending playfulness and movement.
  • Gather for a Drumming Circle, celebrating community, rhythm, and self-expression.
  • Reflect with a gratitude and mindfulness practice, and craft your own Herb Garden Pot or Stress-Relief Mason Jar with Epsom salts and calming herbs.
  • Capture the moment with a photo wearing your handcrafted Nature Crown, a symbol of the growth and transformation from the week.
