Owner of The Little Yogis and The Fitness Remedy

I am DeAri Loggins, the creator of The Little Yogis Enrichment Program. Most people know me as Ari, the lady who loves yoga, hiking, adventures, smiles, and making life super magical for children. I created the Little Yogis Enrichment Program, shortly after my own little yogi was born in 2016. She is my number one reason in creating this program. I want to raise a child understanding life's biggest contradiction--- "there is so much freedom in boundaries, but we are limitless beings", in practicing yoga, this concept can be obtained.  I want children to have a safe place to be where they are and to be themselves! I am extremely passionate about showing children how to cope, how to be curious, how to be discipline, how to love, and how to be kind. I have combined my passion for education and my passion yoga, and developed the Little Yogis Enrichment Program to ultimately teach self-growth, being active, being social, being present, and enjoying the journey of life.

I have been in the wellness industry for over 10 years now. I have much experience on both sides of the industry, loving marketing and pr as well as being a (RYT) yoga instructor, certified mat pilates instructor, certified water aerobics instructor, and certified personal trainer. I love to learn and love to evoke that same wanting and willingness to learn into those around me. I never just want to be a teacher--- I want to inspire!

Peace--- you can not buy it, earn it, or sell it...

you can only create it, live it, and be it!

Any variation of Scorpion. This pose is fun, but takes a lot of concentration. I also love this pose because it helps with blood circulation and for us, anxious coffee drinkers, it helps with calming the nerves.

The Tiger. Tigers are very free-spirited, fiery, vivacious, and passionate. Tigers are known to be fearless and unpredictable. The Tigress is very nurturing and charismatic. Tigers also have a fondness for water.

behind the scenes

Hello! My name is Rashawn Thomas and

I am the Executive Director of The Little Yogis.

I was born and raised in Atlanta, GA, in a large, loving family.  My main duties include managing the day to day operations and promotions.  While I have only been practicing yoga for a year, I have a lifelong passion for teaching and inspiring children.  Due to this passion, I fell in love with the program as soon as I learned of it.

- The Little Yogis instructors -

Hello, my name is Davina Saideman.  I am from London, England and have lived in the US since 2001.  I am married and have three lovely children.  I love teaching which I have done for over twenty-five years in nursery schools, daycares and summer camps.  Guiding a child’s energy into art and movement using their imagination is very important to me.

My favorite yoga pose is the Warrior.  It is empowering and strengthening.

My spirit animal is the Butterfly.  It symbolizes transformation, growth, lightness of being, playfulness and finding joy in life.

My favorite affirmation is “Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away”.

My name is Allie Miller. I am a wife to my husband, Josh and a momma to my daughters Eden and Hosanna.  Originally from Ohio, I started teaching fitness classes at a local gym which eventually lead to teaching a yoga class. Through this class I learned a love and need for yoga. Yoga has helped me through all the transitions into motherhood and continuously keeps my body and life in align. I teach yoga so I can share the amazing benefits of yoga with those around me.

My favorite yoga pose is pigeon. This pose opens the hips and stretches the glutes all while calming the mind.

My favorite affirmation word is— Thankfulness. There is always something in every moment to be thankful for.

I’m so happy to be a part of the Little Yogis team. I personally enjoy the benefits of yoga. Yet sharing yoga with the youth has been exceptionally rewarding. Yoga is great form of exercise, mental stimulation, and mindful meditation.

My favorite yoga pose would be the dancer pose. It’s quite similar to a stunt (the scorpion) I performed in my cheerleading days. I’m extremely ecstatic to share the joy of yoga to all.

My name is Laura Wurm. I grew up with a small family in Columbus, Georgia where I was the only child and grandchild. I was an elementary school teacher for 16 years until the birth of my daughter, Gabby. Being a new mother brought a lot of anxiety, and I found much relief from practicing yoga. This led me to complete my teacher training from Prana Lab Yoga in Weston, Florida, and now I have a strong desire to share what I have learned with others. Teaching yoga to children is such a wonderful bridge from my past to the greatness I see in my future.

LOVE. When your actions come from love you are always on the right path.

Tree pose because I feel grounded and open to The Universe all at the same time.

A bear. I am a very grounded, introspective person who provides much support and strength to others. I enjoy quiet time alone to regroup and to meditate in stillness.

I was born and raised for half of my life in Chicago, IL and the other half in Lithonia, GA. After graduating from GSU, I returned to Chicago and had my sweet son, Cartier. I have practiced yoga for several years and finally took a leap of faith to become a certified  yoga instructor. I absolutely love helping people of all ages to keep or regain mobility and flexibility. I believe everyone can do yoga!

Live for today!

Pigeon, it's a wonderful hip opener and is known to release built up stress or trauma.

Hello! My name is Claire and I’m from a small town in the north Georgia mountains called Dahlonega. I currently go to school at Kennesaw State. I come from a big family, so I’ve always loved being around children and had a passion for teaching kids! I also enjoy yoga, because it gives me a fun way to manage stress from school. Teaching children’s yoga gave me the perfect opportunity to incorporate both of these in my life! Teaching kids how to manage stress in a fun, positive, and kind way is my goal!

Spirit animal: The dolphin

Favorite yoga pose: Chakrasana

Affirmation word: Peace My greatest goal in life is to always have inner peace and radiate peace to others

Hello, my name is Ms. Dara. I discovered yoga by accident when I tried a class at the gym to which I belonged. I was hooked after that first class. I love yoga for the balance it brings to a person's life -- the discipline and effort which builds strength and flexibility coupled with the discovery of ease through breath and acceptance. I love to share all that yoga has to offer with others so they can experience their own journey towards greater self-awareness.

My favorite affirmation word is love -- "the only way to keep it, is to give it away."

My favorite yoga pose is dancer which challenges your balance, improves flexibility and requires strong focus.

The turtle, determined and steady yet serene. Turtles find time to take a break from a busy life to look around and within in order to stay grounded.

Hello! My name is Rebecca, I was born in Tennessee but raised in Georgia. I came to yoga several years ago looking for a means to quiet my monkey mind and to find peace and connection with myself and the world. Yoga has been transformational in my life, and although I am fairly new on my journey I believe wholeheartedly in it's healing power. In 2017, I decided to further my commitment to my practice with a 200 hour teacher training at Peachtree Yoga Center in Atlanta, GA. After passing this milestone I was hungry for more knowledge and experience, therefore I felt participating in the residential program at the Satchidanda Ashram in Virginia was the next step on my journey. This experience confirmed for me that spreading the teachings of yoga is my true passion. I am incredibly happy to be back in Georgia and excited and honored to be working with Little Yogis!

Mantra:  Light. This simple yet profound mantra helps to remind me that all of us at our core are beautiful sources of light and purity. Whenever I am facing difficulty, whether it be internally or externally, I repeat the word Light to myself in order to realign with the True nature that exists inside all of us. Namaste:)

Spirit Animal: The bear because it symbolizes grounding, standing tall and courageously in the face of adversity, and the need for solitude and introspection.

Favorite Yoga Pose: Child's Pose- I love the introspection and nurtrance this pose provides. I also love that it is accessible to many individuals with little to no prior yoga experience. It also encourages rest and an opportunity to return deeply to the breath during practice.
